Windber, PA - 80, Windber, passed away June 3, 2026 at Hershey Medical Center. Born July 6, 1945 in Windber, son of the late Joseph G. and Julia (Showinsky) Gogo. Preceded in death by sisters, Dorothy Polash and Elizabeth "Betty" Shearman. Survived by loving wife of 53 years, Kathy L. (Haddle) Gogo; daughters, Stacey married to Jeremy Wahl; Heather married to Bryan Clement; and Sherry Gogo; grandchildren, Alexis, Christopher, Olivia and Samantha Wahl and Grace Clement; cousin, James Boburchuk; also by numerous nieces and nephews. George loved Windber. He was a faithful life member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and was the dedicated owner of the former Gogo Service Station in Windber. Special thanks to all the customers who supported Gogo's Service Station over the years. George loved to spend time with his family. He also enjoyed NASCAR and time in casinos with Kathy. He also used his spare time to play cards and talk about cars to anyone willing to listen. Family will receive friends at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home of Windber on Monday June 15th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. departure for his funeral mass celebrated 1:30 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Committal to follow at St. Mary's RC Cemetery, Windber. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Windber Hospice.
