George Kenneth Grove Jr.
53, Loretto, died October 15, 2019 at Indiana Hospital Emergency Room. Born October 8, 1966 in Cleveland, Ohio, son of George Sr. and Leah Rae (Wills) Grove. Preceded in death by father on January 14, 2008. Survived by mother of Loretto, wife, the former Gina Rice, whom he married September 14, 1996 in Loretto, daughters, Carly and Jenna both at home, brother Ronald (Michelle Ashurst) of R.D. Gallitzin, a niece, 2 nephews, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Kenny enjoyed spending time with his family, and hunting, fishing and playing softball with his girls, he also enjoyed watching football, going to swim meets, and hanging out with friends. Kenny was a hard worker who was dedicated to what he did, and always took care of his family and will be sadly missed. He worked for Somerset Steel and Price Gregory Pipelines. He was a member of the Laborers Union # 419 out of Somerset for 29 years, Loretto American Legion and the Basilica of St. Michael the Archangel, Loretto where funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 AM Saturday, Very Rev. John D. Byrnes, Celebrant. Friends will be received from 4 until 8 PM Friday at the Gibbons Funeral Home, 1688 Liberty St., Ashville, PA 16613 where a Vigil Service will be held Friday.

So very sorry for your loss, Gina girls. Sending lots of hugs and love to you all. Kenny always made my day when he stopped at the LPG and the one time he stopped at my new place of employment. Gina, tell your girls if they need someone to talk to eventually I know what they are going through.
