Thompson - George R. "Bundy," 63, of Windber, passed away on August 22, 2024. Born February 22, 1961, son of the late Murray and C. Marie (Mock) Thompson. Preceded in death by parents and brother-in-law, George Gourley. Survived by sisters, Karen Dunsten, Carol Gourley, and Nancy (Charles) Barnes; brothers, Murray C. Jr. (Paula) and Donald (Donna); and numerous nieces and nephews. George loved to cook. He also found joy in gardening and making jelly. George will be deeply missed by those in his life. A memorial service will be held on August 28 from 2 p.m. until the time of service at 4 p.m. at Simple Alternatives, 717 Main St., Windber, PA 15963. In lieu of flowers, donations in George's honor may be made to the Cambria County Humane Society and the American Cancer Society.
