Johnstown, PA - FRICK - Gloria M., 99, went to be with the Lord on July 11, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family, at Memorial Medical Center. Born May 26, 1927, in Johnstown, daughter of Gilbert J. Sr. and Edith (Wonders) Bassi. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Donald F.; sons, Donald K., James M. and Thomas G.; son-in-law, Richard Farmer; sisters, Mary McConnell, Katherine Skoda, Alma Williams, and Betty Bray; brother, Gilbert Jr.; also loving niece, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and dear friends. Survived by loving children, Catherine (Joseph Restivo); Jean Klochak; and Linda Frick, widow of Thomas; grandchildren, Jason Frick; Allyson (Ronan O'Sullivan), and her mother Jackie (Martin Chadwick); Donald (Carrie) Restivo; her special Christi Restivo; Nicole (Donte Tissinger); Adam (Jessica) Frick; Dawn (Greg Hubof); Joshua Klochak, and Anne Marie Farmer; great-grandchildren, Michael (Laiken), Andrew (Kiersten), Dakarai (Cheyenne), Aaliyah (Tyrell), Donte, Evan, Julian, Jonathan, Nathan, Gregory, Ashley, Lauren, Natalie, and Morgan; great-great-grandchildren, Cayden, Isabella, Amare, Dakarai, Tyheir, Monte, Piper and Kai; also, loving nieces, nephews and their families. She was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. We lost our precious Mom, Nan, who taught our family what kindness and grace looked like. She had unwavering faith no matter the circumstances. She taught us to never question the why, just to believe. Her hugs healed our souls. I have glorified you on Earth. I have finished the work which you have given me to do. John 17:4.
