Caddo Mills, TX - TRANTER - Harold, was the son of Harold and Eileen (Custer) Tranter. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Cris Tranter; and brother-in-law, JB Smart. Harold is survived by his daughter, Terri Tranter; grandchildren, CJ (Tasha) and Shelby Tranter; great-grandchildren, Everett, Leah, and Emma; sisters, Janice Smart and Debra (Mike) Novotny; nephews, David (Dee) Smart, Timothy (Tonya) Smart, Trevor (Amber Plunkett) Roberts and Amanda Roberts; nine great-nieces and nephews; and 13 great-great nieces and nephews. Harold was a US Air Force veteran. He worked on computer systems from the Minuteman Missile System, to MCI telecommunications, to automotive systems in his career. Harold was a member of the Lone Star Cowboy Church, and of the Patriot Guard Riders (PGR). He will be laid to rest at the DFW National Cemetery in Dallas with the PGR escorting his remains. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
