Harvey Peter Meyers, 66, Meyersdale. Died August 15, 2019 at In-Touch Hospice. Born in Meyersdale, October 9, 1952 to the late William K. and Ellen Orvada (Meyers) Meyers. Preceded in death by brothers: Eric Meyers and William R. Meyers. Survived by numerous cousins. Harvey worked at Robbins & Myers, Mac Truck Power Train Division, Bethlehem Steel, Freightcar America, and Lockheed Martin Aerospace in Johnstown. Harvey loved driving school bus for the Meyersdale Area School District. Proud member of SAR and loved sharing his knowledge of family genealogy, member of the Hillcrest Grange, active member of the American Legion in Meyersdale, Meyersdale Masonic Temple, Hebron Royal Arch Meyersdale, Jaffa Shrine of Altoona, loved Indian and Harley-Davidson Motorcycles, vintage cars, and farming equipment. Harvey was a life long member of the Amity United Church of Christ and a member of the Oak Dale Church. Family and friends will be received on Monday, August 19 from 1-4:00 PM at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will follow the viewing at 4:00 PM at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home with Pastor Dale Curtis and Pastor Joe Byler officiating. Inurnment at Mt.
