Johnstown, Pennsylvania - NAIL- Isaac Cameron, 19, Conemaugh Township, went to be with the Lord on Jan. 11, 2026, following a lifelong battle with Juvenile Battens disease. Born on July 19, 2006, in Johnstown, son of Ronald W. Nail and Candi S. Shaffer, both of Johnstown. Preceded in death by brother, Austin J. Nail, and paternal grandparents, Daniel and Bernice Phillips. Survived by loving sister, Alyssa I. Nail; maternal grandparents, Walter and Cheryl (Moyer) Shaffer; and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. Isaac always wanted to be a military solider showing his love for the military by wearing his green camp army jacket, dog tag necklace, and his army boots. Isaac also loved wearing his hockey jerseys and getting into intense hockey matches. Wrestling was also another favorite of his. His favorite movie was the "Elf" movie, having every line memorized. He liked going shopping for hats, clothes, and toys with his mom. Isaac would always say that "Mommy is my favorite person." He loved his sister, Alyssa "Buddy." Isaac and his brother, Austin shared many memories together. They had a bond that was unbreakable, even when Austin went to heaven Isaac would say Austin is with Jesus now. His best friend was BreAnna McLaughlin, always smiling and laughing with her at every moment. His best friend and former aide, Ashley Rummel was always making crafts, cards, and memories. Thanks to the current nurses from Bayada Pediatrics, Heather Snell, Christine Steinkirchner, Virginia Mirandy and former nurse, Miranda Heinrich, and current Aides, Joey Means and Janel Gamble. Thanks to Family Hospice of Children's Hospital and all current and former nurses and aids that impacted Isaac's life was a 2024 graduate of Conemaugh Township High School. He had a bright smile that could light up the whole town. He enjoyed warm sunny days camping with his family and loving friends where he went for quad rides, did some fishing, and shot guns with his dad. He loved relaxing with his cat, Rey Rey. Isaac was strong-minded and stubborn at times and will be remembered for his bright smile and love that he brought into other people's lives. Family and friends will be received at George E. Mason Funeral Home in Davidsville, PA. on Sunday, Jan. 18, from 2 to 5 p.m. and a 5 p.m. service following afterwards with Pastor Wes Yoder.
