Dear Jesus,

a member of our school community and friend to many of us, has died, and we come to You today to give thanks for the gift of his life, and for all of the ways in which he touched our lives

Comfort his family and be very close to them in their sadness and loss.

Help us to help and support each other, especially those from our school who feel most deeply the loss of Jim Be with his classmates, and with the classmates of his family members in a very special way.

Help us to always care for each other from our school, and say thank you to You every day for all of the people who love us and help us.

We place Jim into Your loving hands Jesus, and ask You to receive him into Your
... heavenly Kingdom where he will be happy forever and ever.

Amen.
