James Jackson was called home on October 27, 2022. He was born on February 3, 1948, to John and Willie Mae (Mayberry) Jackson in Johnstown, PA. James was preceded in death by his parents. James is survived by his 1st cousin Felton Jackson and numerous friends and family, including special friends, Rod Howling, Herman Fisher, Cordy Gunby, Willis Debose, and Lee Hardrick.
James graduated from Greater Johnstown High School in 1967. He was a veteran in the United States Army, and worked for and retired from Penelec after 38 years. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church and the Minersville PNA.
A viewing will be held at Moskal-Reid Funeral Home on Thursday November 3, 2022 from 11:00am-1:00pm and a service at 1:00 pm, Reverend Theodore Tisinger presiding. Interment immediately follow at Benshoff Hill Cemetery.
