Brazier - Janet (Link), whose easy warmth brought joy and happiness to family and friends, passed away after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer on February 6, 2025.

Janet was born in Johnstown, PA, on May 13, 1954, to the late Herbert W. and Anna Marie Burkardt Link. She graduated from Bishop McCort High School in Johnstown in 1972. Upon graduation, Janet moved to the DC suburbs of Virginia where she married and raised her family.

In addition to raising her three sons, Janet held secretarial jobs at the Central Intelligence Agency, AVR, Inc., and Inova Fair Oaks hospital.

Her curiosity and desire for adventure never waned. She found a love for travel, which included Dublin, Paris, Rome, and Beijing, all after the age of 50. Her greatest pleasure came from the simple joys of life: hiding Easter eggs for her grandchildren, line dancing with friends, attending concerts, playing pinochle with her family, or reading a book on her glider on a warm day. Her greatest joy was spending time with family. Wherever she was, she could usually be found laughing, and always with a smile on her face.

In addition to her parents, Janet was predeceased by her stepfather, Robert Schropp; infant brother, Herbert; sister, Diana Wherry; and brother Robert Link.

Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Robert C. Brazier; sons, Mark (Suzanne), Eric (Christina), and Scott (Nicole); grandchildren, Emma, Alexis, Mason, Hannah, and Micah; sisters, Rose Hubbard (William), Sharon Link, Phyllis Link (Mina); in-laws, Debbie Link, Trudy McKee, Alice Brazier and Patty Haines.
