My five sisters and I grew up on the farm above Janet's family. She was funny and sweet as a teenager and I'm sure remained so throughout her life. In 2014 my siblings and I all managed to come back to Johnstown (from all over the country) for a family reunion. Our uncle let Janet and her sisters know we were in town and they surprised us and showed up at the reunion. Janet was so thrilled to see everyone after all those years; she laughed and cried and talked for an hour! Thank the Lord we got to say hello again; may he keep her family close to his heart as they mourn her passing.

Janet was a special lady as we all know. We are so glad that God worked it out that Linda was off work on the 23rd so we were able to make our annual visit from Chambersburg and take them some Chambersburg peaches. It was always a great time when we went to see John and Janet. Who would have known she would only be with us 8 more days. We send our love, sympathy and prayers to John and the whole family. .

We are so very sorry to hear of Janet’s death. We are in Charlotte now and will be here for another week. Larry always enjoyed working with Janet. We both loved our brief encounters with Janet since retirement . She shared some of her flowers with me and they are growing like crazy so we will always have a remembrance of Janet. With Sympathy, Larry and Sandy Malec
