Hillsdale, Pa - PUGH - Jean D., 89, of Northern Cambria, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2026, at Embassy of Hillsdale Park with her son at her bedside. Born in Alverda, daughter of the late Henry and Eva (Glenn) Davis. She married Malcolm R. Pugh in 1957, he preceded her in death on Feb. 2, 2018. She was the last of her immediate family. Surviving are a son, Barry and Suzanne Pugh; granddaughter, Jennifer (JJ Slonaker) McMackin, of Mahaffey; and numerous nieces and nephews. Jean took great pride in tending her garden and found fulfillment in preserving her harvest through canning. She also had an interest in crafts. Friends will be received Monday, March 2, 2026, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Barrett Funeral Home, 822 Philadelphia Ave., Northern Cambria, where a funeral service will take place at 6 p.m. with Pastor Patti Ferguson, officiating. Interment will be at McDowell Cemetery. A celebration of life will be planned for this summer.
