Harrisburg, Pa - CRICHTON - Jeffery Lynn "Fizz," of Harrisburg, passed away Sept 24, 2025, after a two-year battle with cancer with his brother at his side. Born in Johnstown on April 26,1955, the son of Roy W. Crichton Sr and Gladys (Miller) Crichton. He is survived by brother, Roy "Butch" "Sarge" Crichton Jr., and wife Darlene, and sister, Bernadine "Sis" Labuda, and husband John. A graduate of WHHS 1973. After moving to Harrisburg he hired on with Greiner Industries until retirement. Jeff was president of the Hummelstown Field and Stream Association. Jeff was also an elder in the Faith United Church of Christ in Grantville, Pa. He was very involved at the church, and did a lot of work on the churches building and grounds. He was willing to help out whenever he was asked. He was a deep thinker, and he asked many insightful questions about life, faith, and God. He was a very gifted writer. There will be memorial shoot held at the Hummelstown Club in early spring to honor Jeff. The Crichton family has donated a new Browning O/U sporting clays shotgun to be raffled, proceeds to go as a permanent remembrance of Jeff. Rest in peace little brother, life will not be the same without you.
