McGLYNN - Jerome "Jerry," 86, of Twin Rocks, passed away June 23, 2026, at UPMC-Mercy, Pittsburgh. Born March 21, 1940, in Nanty Glo, son of the late Patrick Henry and Dorothy A. (Schultz) McGlynn. Preceded in death by infant son, Jerome Jr., and brothers-in-law, James Davis and Leon Frantz. Survived by wife, Marian (Kruper), to whom he was married for 62 years; daughters, Michele (Donald) Burk and Tracy (Joseph) Spade; and grandsons, Ethan and Teague. Also survived by brother, Charles (Peg) McGlynn; sisters, Patricia Davis; Margaret Frantz; Mary C. (Donald) Haflinger; and Dorothy (Bob) Harper; and numerous nieces and nephews. At Jerry's request, there will be no viewing. Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Nanty Glo, the Rev. Kevin Queally, TOR, celebrant. Committal St. Charles Cemetery, Twin Rocks. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary's Church in Jerry's memory. Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.
