Johnstown, PA - Jerry Lee Hileman, Sr., 80, Johnstown, passed away on July 17, 2026. Born on February 4, 1946, to the late Harry and Velma (Rummel) Hileman. Preceded in death by daughter, Tammy Martin, Inlaws Linda Bowman, Brian Lorditch, Bill Lorditch, Dick Lorditch, and siblings, James Hileman, Jack Hileman, Joyce Pudliner. Survived by loving wife of 61 years, Ida Belle (Lordich) Hileman; children, Jerry Hileman, Jr. (Jamie), and Eric Hileman; grandchildren, Bradley Martin, Brittani Leone (Mike), JJ Hileman, and Dalton Hileman; sisters-in-law, Pammy Seese (Mike), Linda (Lentz) Lorditch; son-in-law, Greg Martin, and special loved ones Bobby Varner (Helen) and Jeff Tarby; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Jerry worked for many years at Bethlehem Steel, as an automotive mechanic, small engine repairman, coal and wood delivery, and owner of Monarch 2 Laundry Service. He was a member of West Taylor Fire Department. Jerry loved fishing, hunting, especially hunting fox squirrels, and telling jokes and stories. Jerry enjoyed spending time with family and friends at his hunting camp, Camp Bear Claw. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 at Hindman Funeral Homes, 146 Chandler Avenue, Johnstown, PA 15906. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at 10:00 also at the funeral home. Pastor John H. Weaver will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent in Jerry's honor to the West Taylor Fire Department, 712 Cooper Avenue, Johnstown, PA 15906.
