John Robert Gornick
(Nite Nite) 34, of Mount Pleasant, SC, entered into eternal rest Sunday, February 23, 2020 doing what he loved to do, riding his motorcycle. Born April 24, 1985, Gaithersburg, Maryland, son of John Joseph Gornick, Jr. and Mary Ann Delusa Gornick. Preceded in death by Grandmother Joan Delusa, Grandparent's John and Dorothy Gornick, and Uncle Robbie Delusa. Survived by his parents, Johns Island, SC; maternal grandfather, Robert Delusa; Aunts and Uncles, Michael and Rhonda Delusa, Gina and Mike Vitalie, fiancée, Cara Thompson of Summerville, SC. Numerous Great Aunts, Uncles and cousins. He was a loving son, fiancé and father to his two fur-babies Dixie and Duncan who will be sadly missed. John Robert was a welder at Raycap Stealth, N. Charleston, SC, a member of the Misguided Brotherhood Motorcycle Club and a member of Peniel Praise Community Church. His biggest joy was his family and riding his motorcycle. He told us the best day of his life was when he was able to drag race at Rockingham Race Track in NC. He also loved to quote the Bible. This was handwritten in the back of his Bible " Live in the word until the word lives in you." A memorial service will be held at Peniel Praise Community Church, 760 Cooper Avenue, Johnstown, PA, on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at noon. Donations may be made to Peniel in his memory.

You were one of a kind, I really enjoyed our friendship just wish there was more time. There was definitely never a dull moment if Nite Nite was there. I was lucky enough to be in this last picture of him. Ride those golden roads till we meet again.

The man of a million facial expressions. I would say rest easy, but I know you’re doing anything but resting. :) There is no death, there is only transition. Until we meet again, my friend. Much love and respect always. Love ya Nite Nite!
