Vintondale, PA - KUHAR - John Joseph III, 61, of Vintondale, passed away Oct. 8, 2025, at home. Born Oct. 15, 1963, in Johnstown. Preceded in death by his father, John Jr., and brother, Michael. Survived by his mother, Rosemarie; sisters, Claudine "Dee" (Russell) Bishop, and Carol (Robert) Garver; and brother, Paul (Andrea) Kuhar. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and extended family and many friends. John worked as a nurse aide at Amber Hills, Ebensburg. Member of Vintondale Trout Club. Lifetime member of the Vintondale Volunteer Fire Dept. He enjoyed fishing in Potter County, watching sports and spending time with family. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family and are in care of the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes Inc., Nanty Glo.
