Johnstown, PA - LITZINGER - Joseph Earl, 85, of Richland, Pennsylvania, passed away on June 5, 2025, at home. Born on July 8, 1940, in Patton, he was the son of the late Clement and Agnes (Kruis) Litzinger. He was preceded in death by his wife, Liana Lourdes Arjona-Siaca Litzinger; his sisters, Rita Delpierre and Eileen Litzinger; and his granddaughter and grandson, Jennifer Nicole Hedrick, Alec Litzinger. Joseph is survived by his children, Alan Litzinger, Myra (Litzinger) Marsh, Kelly (Litzinger) Wekenmann, and Justin Lee; grandchildren, Alana, Andrea, Avery, and Aubrey; great-grandchildren, Zachariah, Isabella, Ava, and Kayden; brother, Edward Litzinger, of Martinsburg; and nieces and nephews, Jerry DelPierre, Gary DelPierre, Jennifer Anderson, and James Litzinger; and great-niece and great-nephew, Malia and Ryan Anderson. Joseph's wisdom was quiet, steady, and always there when you needed it. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and later spent 30 years as an X-ray technician at Lee Hospital, where his calm presence and dedication made a lasting impact. A lifelong learner, he had a remarkable gift for knowledge - you could ask him anything and somehow, he always seemed to know the answer. He found joy in the simple things - a good magazine or newspaper, or a peaceful day at home with a good cup of coffee. Joseph lived a private life; he was thoughtful, gracious, and deeply loved by his family. His quiet strength and sharp mind will be remembered with love and admiration.
