MILLER - Joseph 68, of Johnstown, passed away March 31, 2026, at Hilltop Heights. Born March 14, 1958, in Johnstown, son of Russell and Florence Miller. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Vern and Jim Miller; and sister, Bonnie Riddel. Survived by loving wife of 45 years, Susan (Soltes) Miller, and their children, Joseph Miller Jr., fiancée Amy Jones, and Heather, wife of Jason Saly; ans grandchildren, Bentley Knieriem, Ellie Saly and Julianne Miller. Also sisters, Margie Miller and Rosie Seger, and not to forget faithful companion, Bandit. Joseph was an active member of Ferndale Sportsman Club, where he enjoyed the outdoors especially fishing and hunting. He was a dedicated individual who has worked hard and put his heart and soul into everything that he would be working on. His legacy and commitment will continue by all who knew and loved him. Friends will be received Monday from 4 p.m. until time of memorial service at 6 p.m. at Geisel Funeral Home, Johnstown, Pastor Terry Jury, officiating. Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.

Orders placed in:
January - May
Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
