Joseph  Sanna
Joseph "Joe" Sanna, 71, Mechanicsburg, PA died October 6, 2019 at home surrounded by family. He was born in Johnstown, PA to Frank"Ace" Sanna and Elizabeth Bires Sanna. Joe leaves a loving wife of nearly 54 years, Dolores Querry Sanna, his children Tammy Bianchi (Donald), Kim Sanna, and Joseph Sanna, Jr. (Lisa Cassel), and five amazing granddaughters, Maria, Katie, Marissa, Josie, and Nicole. He is also survived by a brother Francis and his sisters Sandra Sanna Moser, Jeannie Sanna, and Maryann Ramsey. A 1965 graduate of Johnstown High and a U.S. Air Force veteran, Joe retired from the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers as a Lead Organizer. He was a proud 50-year member of IBEW Local 459. When not at home with family, there was nothing better than being at camp with coffee by the fire. Joe participated in the Humanity Gifts Registry HGRPA.ORG by donating his remains. A celebration of his life and internment at Fort Indiantown Gap will occur at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Penn State University, School of Labor and Employment Relations Attn: Paul Clark 506 Keller Building University Park, PA 16802. Please note School of LER, in memory of Joe Sanna.

My condolences, if we turn to the Bible for comfort notice what is said at John 5:28;
Do not be amazed at this for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, yes, we will see our loved ones again in the resurrection.

To the Family,
So sorry for your loss, Joe was a man of convictions that never wavered. I am a better person because of his being.

I knew Joe from being a union worker associated with IBEW Local 459 when I worked for nearly 28 years at Highland Sewer & Water Authority. May he rest in peace.
