Davidsville, PA - 100, formerly of Jerome, passed away February 9, 2026, at Laurel View Village in Davidsville. Born February 13, 1925, in Johnstown, the daughter of Joseph and Inez (Bassetti) Morelli. Also preceded in death by husband of 62 years, Louis A. Gusmerotti on February 10, 2009, and brothers, Euguene and William Morelli. Survived by daughters, Saundra, married to Robert Rose, Oyster Bay, N.Y.; and Denise, married to Michael Devins, Murrells Inlet, S.C.; grandchildren, Michael Rose and wife Suzanne, Carolyn Rose and husband Sam Felkamp and Adam Devins and wife Kelly; great-grandchildren, Matthew, Benjamin, Emilia, Theo, Forrest and Iris Josephine; and sisters, Anna Zambotti, Clara Garanich and Carol Bartoletti. Josie was a 1942 graduate of Conemaugh Township High School. She was a beautician by trade and was employed by Dorfman & Hoffman Garment Factory in Jerome and Somerset. She was a lifelong member of former Holy Cross Catholic Church in Jerome and later St. Anne Catholic Church in Davidsville. She was also a member of Hollsopple Senior Center. Josie loved being outdoors, especially golfing, hunting and fishing. She also enjoyed working with her hands, sewing and quilting.
