Josephine G. Mihm, 85, died Sunday morning January 13, 2019 at Maybrook Hills, Altoona. She was born March 18, 1933 in Nanty Glo a daughter of the late Joseph and Caroline Kisic. She was twice married, first to Joseph Dunchak and then to John Mihm, both of whom preceded her in death. Surviving are a son Curtis J. Dunchak and his wife, Jennifer of Altoona; a daughter Lara J. Dunchak of Ohio; three grandchildren, Stone Dunchak, Ty Dunchak and Krillyn Dunchak; and a sister, Betty Miller of Johnstown. Josephine attended St. Mary's Catholic Church, Nanty Glo. She retired from management of Eye Masters. She enjoyed traveling and was very active with her church. Friends will be received from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Thursday January 17, 2019 at Myers-Somers Funeral Home, Inc., 501 Sixth Avenue, Altoona where a memorial service will be held at 4:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Catholic Church of your choice.
