Kenneth John Sisk, Sr.
Kenneth John Sisk, Sr., 84, of Center Twp., passed moved on to pursue his next adventure on February 10, 2020, at the age of 84. Born February 5, 1936, in Johnstown, Pa., he was a son of late Edward J. and M. Geraldine (Canary) Sisk. Kenneth was a 1954 graduate of Johnstown Catholic High School (now known as Bishop McCort). He went on to serve in the US Army from 1956-58 before working for Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 17 years and later Center Twp. Water Authority for 15 years. After a long career, he retired in 2002. Kenneth was a devoted member of Saint Frances Cabrini Church where he served as Eucharistic Minister, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Kenneth enjoyed football and was one of the original coaches of the Center Township Little Trojans Midget Football program as well as a founding member of the Center Quarterback Club. Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Mary "Aggie" (Rutledge) Sisk; son Michael S Sisk and daughter-in-law Verna (Dugan) Sisk and grandson Colin Sisk, all of Center Township, Monaca, PA; son Kenneth J Sisk Jr. and daughter-in-law Elaine (Wilson) Sisk of Elkridge , MD and grandchildren Courtney (Sisk) Freudenberg, Ian Sisk and Noah Sisk. He is also survived by sister Judith (Sisk) Smith of Kailua, HI, brothers Patrick Sisk of Reading, PA and Daniel Sisk of Pacific Palisades, CA, and their wives Bernadette (Penny) and Carol, and brother-in-law John Vitez of Johnstown, PA, along with Kenneth's many very special nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Sarah (Sisk) Vitez; his brother, Father Robert Sisk, T.O.R; his brother, Edward J Sisk Jr.; his sister-in-law, Patricia (Sadosky) Sisk; brother-in-law, Louis J Bosser, and brother-in-law, David Smith. Kenneth will be fondly remembered and missed by all those who loved and knew him. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Mother Teresa Hospice for their compassion, support and wonderful care. Honoring his wishes, there will be no visitation. Family and friends will gather Saturday, February 22, 2020 at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 114 Trinity Drive, Aliquippa, Pa. 15001 (Center Twp.), where a memorial Mass of Christian of Burial will be celebrated at 1pm. A committal service will be held at the church with private burial at Saint John's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in Kenneth's name to be directed to Franciscans Mission, Loretto, PA 15940; Sisters of Saint Francis, Mt Alvernia, 146 Hawthorne Rd, Millvale, PA 15209; or Bishop McCort Catholic High School, 25 Osborne St, Johnstown, PA 15905.

As classmate and friend of Ken's, I offer my deepest sympathy to his family and friends. For I know he will be missed by everyone who knew him. Ken was a great friend we will miss him.
