Kenneth J. Sokira, Colver. Age 51. Died Sept. 16, 2019 Conemaugh Medical Center. Born July 10, 1968 in Colver. Son of James and Eloise ( Vranka ) Sokira. Survived by parents, Colver, wife the former Theresa Lesniak, children Alexus and Alyson both at home. Brother of James, Theresa ( Gerald ) Bearer and Ronald ( Lisa ) also numerous nieces and nephews. Ken enjoyed coaching basketball and baseball. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8p.m. Thursday at the Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg. Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m. Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Colver. The Rev. Father Christopher Lemme TOR. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Colver Fire Company in Ken's memory.

We just returned from a trip and learned of Kenny's passing. He was a nice person. Sincere condolences to all of his loved ones for this loss. He will be missed.
