Formerly employed as a coal miner for Barnes & Tucker Co. and later worked as a laborer at Consolidated Steel of Frugality. Leo worked tirelessly to provide for his family, always available to help no matter the need. He was most proud of watching his grandchildren grow and begin careers of their own. Retirement was never spoken, having worked from a very young age, Leo never slowed. A work ethic like no other, he was available to family, friend and neighbor for any task, not only eager to help-- but disappointed if not asked. He cut grass, plowed and shoveled snow for many in the neighborhood. He became the daily handyman at the business of his son-in-law and the care-taker of St Patrick Cemetery, which he maintained with pride and loving care. Friends will be received from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. Sunday at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Prince of Peace Church. Fr. Matthew Baum officiating. "Now the Labourer's Task is over; the battle day is past; Upon the farther shore, lands the voyager at last. Father, in Thy gracious keeping, Leave we now thy servant sleeping."
