State College - Formerly of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, passed away January 25, 2025, at Harmony in State College. Born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, the son of Leander and Elsie (Miller) Allen. He was the youngest and was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Survived by daughter, Patricia Doty, State College; sons, Michael (Maria) Allen, Cincinnati; David (Eileen) Allen, Indianapolis. He will be sadly missed by granddaughters, Rachel (Jess) Hunger, Katie Allen, Christine Allen, and Maribeth Allen; grandsons, Christopher, Matthew and Peter Doty; great-grandson, Owen Robert Hunger, and great-granddaughter, Anna Mary Hunger.
Lewis was a longtime resident of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, and attended St John the Baptist Orthodox Church in Conemaugh. Funeral services were conducted on January 29, 2025, at Holy Trinity Orthodox Church in State College, Father Alexander Cadmen presiding. Lewis will be interred on Thursday, January 30, 2025, in the St Michael's Orthodox Cemetery in Portage, Pennsylvania.
