FOLTON-LAPE - Lorraine D. (O'Baker), 88, Siemon's Lakeview Manor, Somerset, formerly of Klines Mill Road, Boswell, went home to be with the Lord March 12, 2014, at the manor. Born July 6, 1925, in Boswell, daughter of Howard and Gladys (Shaffer) O'Baker. Preceded in death by parents; husband of 54 years, Joseph H. Folton, Sept. 24, 2004; second husband, Ralph Lape, June 20, 2011; son, Joseph C. Folton; brothers, Vale and Evan O'Baker; stepdaughter, Karen (Lape) White; and in-laws, Frances and Bill Slavich, Ed and Rose Folton, George Orlandi, Robert and Eileen Folton, Ernie Folton and Gladys Folton. Survived by children, L. Luray, married to James Baraniak, Jennerstown; Jeffrey H., married to Paula (Muro), Buckstown; and Ladelle J., married to Michael Maurer, Boswell; grandchildren, Tara, Lauren, Nolan, Luray, Brett, Natalie and Noah; stepgrandchildren, Dana, Lindsay, Tara and Brad; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Maddyn, Leilani, Lane and Kai; three stepgreat-grandchildren; sisters, Leah, married to Maxwell Martin, San Diego, Calif., and Karen, married to Robert DeMarco, Erie; sisters-in-law, Mary Jane Orlandi, Somerset; Mary Lou Folton, Walton Hills, Ohio; Joyce O'Baker, Erie; and Ann O'Baker, Friedens; special daughter-in-law, Bless, Wilmington, N.C.; numerous nieces and nephews; many good friends; and special neighbor, Cherie. A 1943 graduate of Boswell High School. Member of Hopewell United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir. She enjoyed traveling to her sister's and brother's homes in Erie and Ohio. She was a great baker and cook, especially known for her pies and raisin-filled cookies. Lorraine was a very loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother "Gargum," great-grandmother, sister and aunt. The family would like to thank the staff of Siemon's and Memorial Medical Center for all their loving care.
