Johnstown, PA - COBER - Marc William, 55, of Johnstown, died on July 15, 2026. Born Dec. 22, 1970, in Somerset, he was the son of William Cober and Shirley Ann (Shaffer) Cober. Preceded in death by his father, William Cober. Survived by his mother and Marc's significant other of 11 years, Kelly Shaffer; his children: Hunter Cober, Makenna Cober, and Reese Cober; and his brother, Scott Cober. He is a 1989 graduate of Somerset High School. He played football and was involved in track and ski club. After retiring from the concrete industry, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, hockey, NASCAR, watching Penn State football, and drinking coffee. He also loved to look at and visit the Smokey Mountains with his son, Reese. He loved his two cats, Willy and Lucy, and working in his garden. He was an avid music listener and loved to collect vinyl. Friends will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 21, with a service following at 2 p.m. at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Somerset.
