Fort Lauderdale, Florida - PINIZZOTTO - Mario P., 94, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, formerly of Johnstown, died Jan. 26, 2026. He was born Feb. 22, 1931, in Johnstown, the son of Angelo and Marie (Caputo) Pinizzotto. Preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Joseph, Anthony "Red" and Samuel; and his sisters, Theresa Arena and Rose Relogio. Survived by his sister, Mary, married to Vincent J. Falvo; his nephews: Scott and Gary Pinizzotto; Mark, David, and Joe Arena; and Anthony, Vince, and Richard Falvo; and his nieces: Marie, Patty, Carol and Linda Pinizzotto. Mario had a 30-year career as an accountant for HUD in Arlington, Virginia. He loved to travel and stay active. He enjoyed meeting his friends for coffee, dinner, and wine. Friends received from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6, 2026, at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 1622 Menoher Blvd., Johnstown, PA 15905. Funeral Mass will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Resurrection Roman Catholic Parish, Father George Gulash. Interment at St. Anthony Cemetery, Johnstown.
