Salix, PA - RILEY - Marjorie A., 91, Salix, died October 29, 2025. Born May 19, 1934, in Dale Borough, daughter of Robert and Anna Blanche (Meese) Lloyd. Preceded in death by parents; husband, James E. Riley III, who died August 21, 2015; infant son, Timothy Louis; daughter, Cathy Lee; son, Edward R.; sister, Betty Jane Brandle; and brothers, Robert, Selwyn Dean, and Lynn. Survived by son, Timothy R. Riley; dear friend and caregiver, Carly M. Shaffer; and beloved German shepherd, "Demon Chang Von Capriole" and cat, Lynx. Faithful member of Salix Bethel Church, where she enjoyed fellowship with friends in their Goodwill Bible Class. She often fondly remembered her days working at Conemaugh Hospital. A charter member of USSCO Federal Credit Union, and member of Ladies of the Moose and the Steelworkers Organization of Active Retirees. She was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates, Steelers, and Penn State football. One of Marjorie's greatest joys was traveling with her husband. Together, they went on countless adventures, visiting 45 states, exploring Canada, Mexico, and Europe. Marjorie gave so much of herself to others, whether through her faith, her community service, or her friendships. Let us carry forward her spirit of adventure and love. Arrangements by Charles O.
