Johnstown, PA - Mark passed away at home on June 11, 2026. He was born on February 25, 1981 in Windber, PA, to parents George J. and Suni (Clites) Susko.

Mark is survived by his wife of many years, Alison (Haig) Susko; his parents; grandmother, Sylvia Susko; sister and brother-in-law Allyn and Kevin Bove; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Amanda and Nate Smith; brother-in-law Billy Haig; mother-in-law Joyce Wendler (Jay Bontempo) and father-in-law Thomas Haig (Barbara Haig); and beloved nephews and niece Simon Bove, Gabe Smith, and Evelynn Smith.

He is also survived by aunts and uncles: Michael and Jeanne Susko, Donita and Jim Mills, Corey and Karen Clites, Heather and Christopher Vitko, and Mark Schmieder; and cousins: Amanda Susko, Amber Lautenbacher, Shawna Clites, Zachary Vitko, Sydney Vitko, Cameron Vitko, Sorina (Lautenbacher) Leary, Aiden Cooper, Kara Lautenbacher, and Kolt Lautenbacher.

Mark is preceded in death by his grandparents George E. Susko, Donald Clites, and Mary Eileen Clites; aunt Gaynelle Schmieder; and cousin Donald Lautenbacher.

Mark attended Forest Hills High School in Sidman, PA and Methodist College in Fayetteville, NC. He dedicated much of his professional and personal life to his love of golf, having served as golf professional at multiple golf clubs in the Johnstown and Philadelphia areas. Mark was also an avid fan of Penn State football, all other Nittany Lion sports, and all Pittsburgh professional sports teams.

Mark will be deeply missed by family, friends, and his dogs Lincoln (Lincy) and Monroe (MoMo).
