57. passed away December 1, 2016 at Cambria Care Cente. He lived in Lilly until his recent illness. Born July 28, 1959 in Altoona. He was the son of the late Andrew and Helen (Orehowsky) Wasil who were devoted to their special needs child.Preceded in death by his god parents, Rudy and Julia Stossel. He is survived by six siblings; Genevieve and husband paul Raymond, Mary Catherine and husband Stephen Weaver, Rose Marie Wasil, James Wasil, Ronald and wife Linda Wasiland Leonard and wife Betsy Wasil; also uncle John Orehowsky and special cousins David Stossel, Theresa Griffith and Kathy BradleyFamily and friends received Sunday December 4, 2016 2 to 4pm at Thomas F. Cloherty Funeral Home, Lilly where a vigil will be held. Funeral mass Monday December 5, 2016 at 10am at Our Lady of The Alleghenies Chapel, Portage Street, Lilly , Rev. Msgr. John R. Sasway, celebrant.
