91, Hooversville, died Oct. 13, 2019 at Windber Woods. Born April 2, 1928 in Blough, daughter of William and Mary Alberta (Rodger) Carey. Preceded in death by parents, husband Michael, son Michael W., brother William Carey, and sister Louise Denorcey. Survived by daughters: Sandy (Ken) Main, Johnstown, Gerry (David) McCabe, Bordentown, NJ, and Michele Kadilac and friend Denny Leasock, Hooversville; grandchildren: Michael C. and Matthew Kadilac, Kristin DeMeyer, Melanie, Nathan, and Shawn Main, and Caitlin McCabe; several great grandchildren; sisters: Doris Jones and Peggy Clark; and her dog Bambi. She was a graduate of Hooversville High School. She retired from USPS and was a former flea marketer at Leighty's. She enjoyed playing bingo, gardening, baking, and spending time with family. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, Hooversville. In lieu of flowers contributions may be given to St. Jude's Children's Tribute Program, P.O. Many nice memories! We called her “MK” and visited the Carey’s many times in Hooverville when Uncle Bill was in charge of Hooversville’s power plant.
