Mary Louise Kociban
(Mocak), 95, Windber, went to be with the Lord August 26, 2019. Born August 5, 1924 in Windber. Daughter of Michael and Anna (Suza) Mocak. Preceded in death by parents; husband, George Kociban Jr.; sister, Ann and husband, Roy Martindale and niece, Dorothy Ann Woods. Survived by children, Mary, wife of the late James Fry, Groveport, Ohio and George M. Kociban and wife, the Reverend Deborah (Jones) Kociban, Kittanning; grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth "Liz" Fry and Whitney Kociban; cousin, Millie Molnar; and close friend, Joannie Wisnosky. Mary was a longtime employee, Tru-Form Manufacturing in Windber. Member of ILGWU. For years, Mary was a member of the kitchen crew, helping at wedding receptions at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Windber. She enjoyed crocheting, tending to her yard and gardening, baking cakes, chatting with her friends and watching Days of Our Lives. Lifelong member of SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, Windber, where Mary was a member of the Rosary Society. Friends received from 12 Noon to 12:45 p.m. Thursday at the William Kisiel Funeral Home, Windber followed by funeral Mass at 1 p.m., Thursday at SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, Windber, Reverend George M. Gulash, officiating. Interment, Church Cemetery.
