Mary Lou C. Livingston, 71, of Schellsburg died on Sunday, October 11, 2020 at Windber Hospice. She was born on January 10, 1949, in Windber, a daughter of the late John S. and Josephine (Sebas) Wozny. She married Thomas L. Livingston of Schellsburg and they were married for 52 years. They were married in Cumberland, MD at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church by Pastor Richard E. Manning. She is survived by her husband Thomas and the following family: a daughter Denise Y. Kissell and husband Robert Sr. of Sarver; three sons: Martin J. Livingston and companion Nadine of Phillipsburg, Joel T. Livingston and wife Kristen of New Paris, and J.C. Livingston and wife Renee of Bedford; 12 grandchildren: Camellia Livingston, Priscilla Branch and husband Eldwin, Brittany Branch and husband Darius, Tim Livingston and wife Shawnette, Robert Kissell Jr. and wife Nina, Sara Vieira and husband Miquel, Adam Kissell and wife Maggie, Melanie, Benjamin, Alex, and Parker Livingston, and Bailey McGill; one sister Barbara Whitney of Windber. Mary Lou was preceded in death by a son, Thomas L. Livingston Jr. widow Nancy who survives of Nogalas, LA.


Mary Lou was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Bedford PA. She retired after 23 years as a food service director with Chestnut Ridge School District. She was a member of the Loyal Order of the Eastern Star, former secretary of Chestnut Ridge Lioness Club, past president of the Chestnut Ridge Band parents, and served as the treasurer on the advisory board for Bedford County Children and Youth. She enjoyed cooking, baking and was an avid reader.


Funeral Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by the Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home, in Bedford. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in Mary Lou's name to the Bedford County Children and Youth, 200 South Juliana St, Bedford, PA 15522.
