88, a resident of John Paul II Manor, Cresson passed away December 30, 2018 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born January 28, 1930 in Lilly She was the daughter of the late Frank and Pauline (Fuller) Yanik. Preceded in death by these siblings: Joseph, John, Albert, Frank, Michael and Mrs. Rose Kaczar. She was the last surviving member of her family. Also will be sadly missed by numerous nieces and nephews, cousin Catherine Iapaluca, special friend Stella Ruffley and many other friends, priest, sisters, and staff at John Paul II Manor. Mary owned and was operator of Jans Styling Salon for many years and enjoyed talking with all people especially ones who spoke her polish language and she could respond in polish. Family and friends received Thursday January 3, 2019 at Thomas F. Cloherty Funeral Home, Lilly 3pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday January 4, 2019 at Our Lady of the Alleghenies Chapel, Portage Street, Lilly, at 11 am. Father Kevin Queally, celebrant. Committal at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery, Lilly.
