Frostburg, MD - PILJAY - Nadine, 75, of Fostburg, MD, formerly of Johnstown, died Sept. 23, 2025. Born July 3, 1950, in Johnstown, the daughter of Michael Piljay and Mildred (Visnich) Zelko. Preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Michelle Eckenrod; brother, Robert Piljay; and sisters, Betty Piljay and Zora Piljay. Survived by children, Michael Eckenrod and Sean Eckenrod; grandchildren, Sarah, Gabriella, Nikolas, Tatiana, and Brittnay; great-grandson, Chase; sisters, Sylvia Piljay-Pastirko, Johnstown, and Sheila Piljay-Johnson, Bridgeton, NJ; and numerous nieces and nephews. Nadine was a registered nurse for the city of Cleveland where she later retired from. Nadine loved fishing, camping, gardening, and spending time with her family. She was also an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Nadine was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She will truly be missed by many. Friends will be received Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc. Funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., the Rev. Protopresbyter Dragan Vukovic.
