Nanty Glo, PA - CRONAUER - Nancy Jane. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Nancy Jane Cronauer, a cherished wife, mother, and friend, who left this world on July 26, 2026, at the age of 80. Born on June 26, 1946, in Spangler, PA, Nancy lived a life filled with love, kindness, and devotion to her family and community. Nancy was the loving wife of Donald for 59 beautiful years, a testament to the enduring love and companionship they shared since their marriage in Nov. 5, 1966. She was the proud and devoted mother of Rob Cronauer, husband of Alysia (Hatok), Greensburg, and Brenda Cronauer, Nanty Glo, whom she nurtured with endless love and care. Nancy spent her professional career as the dedicated secretary of Saint Mary's School in Nanty Glo, where her kindness and caring nature touched the lives of countless children and colleagues. Her commitment to her work was matched by her deep faith and active membership in St. John Vianney Church, Nanty Glo, where she was a beloved member of the parish community. A woman of many talents, Nancy found joy in sewing, a hobby she dearly loved. Her creations were not just pieces of fabric and thread but expressions of her warmth and creativity, cherished by those fortunate enough to receive them. She also enjoyed traveling with her friends and family and sharing tea with those she loved. Preceded in death by her beloved parents, Louis L. and Aliene M. (Springer) Farabaugh, and infant son, Donald Robert Cronauer Jr. Nancy's legacy of love and kindness will continue to live on through her surviving family. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Nancy are invited to gather in remembrance and celebrate the life of this remarkable woman. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 30, 2026, at Moriconi Funeral Home Inc., Northern Cambria. Additional visitation will be held from 9 to 9:45 a.m. on Friday, July 31, 2026, in the Boniface Woomer room at St. Benedict Catholic Church, 100 Main St., Carrolltown, where a funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Benedict Cemetery, Carrolltown.
