DiNATILE (NATTA) – Nicola “Nick,” 74, Windber, died Aug. 29, 2015, at Church of the Brethren Home, formerly of the Quemahoning Towers, Windber.  Born Nov. 27, 1940 in Windber, son of Joseph and Mayme (Shaffer) Natta. Preceded in death by parents; first wife, Sandra L. (Gindlesperger); sister, Anna Fetzer; brother, Ralph; and infant sister, Mary. Survived by these children, Anna Marie, wife of Dave Miller, Johnstown; Sandra Jean Natta, Johnstown; and William Joseph Natta, and wife, Marianne, Boswell; grandchildren, Alicia, wife of Steven Wallace, Virginia; Eric Stricker and Rebecca Natta, both of Johnstown; and Adam Natta, Boswell; great-grandchildren, Eric Jr., Brennan, Dylan, Ethan and Molly; and siblings, John, and wife, Janet; Joe, and wife, Hilda, both of Johnstown; Rich, and wife, Cathy, South Fork; Barbara Natta, Michigan; and Nancy, wife of Dan Varner, Ohio.  Also loving companion, Pat Richardson, Windber, and dog, Scooter. Member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Windber.  Nick was an avid Steelers fan, he enjoyed playing pool and going to the races at Dog Hollow. Nick was a loyal and social person, who enjoyed talking and joking with his many friends.  He will be sadly missed. The family would like to thank relatives, friends, doctors and caregivers for their prayers, support and caring during Nick’s extended illness. Visitation will be held from 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber, where vigil for the deceased will be held.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Windber, Father Rod Soha, TOR, pastor.
