Olive June (Bailey) Hinson, 89, of Schellsburg, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at In Touch Hospice in Somerset.

She was born on August 3, 1932 in Cambria County; daughter of the late Samuel and Viola (Penrod) Bailey.

On October 18, 1950, she married Francis Paul "Sonny" Hinson, who preceded her in death after 71 years of marriage.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Francis Paul "Sonny" Hinson and son-in-law, Jeffry Ling, Sr.; brothers, Earl, John, Russell, Gerald (Bud), Samuel, Elmer, and George; sisters, Catherine Allen, Ethel Bailey, and Shirley Gephart.

She is survived by her children, Vicki Ling of Schellsburg; Timothy Hinson of New Paris; Chuck Hinson of Marysville, Pa; 4 grandchildren, Troy Mickle of Fishertown; Jeremy Ling of Mechanicsburg; Kendra Prettyman of Fishertown; Brandon Hinson of Everett, Pa; 7 great-grandchildren, Angelena Ling, Lilliana Ling, Jeremy Paul Ling Jr., Zackery Mickle of Fishertown, Kaleb Mickle of Fishertown, Evangelina Prettyman of Fishertown, and Elsie Prettyman of Fishertown; sister, Bessie Davis of Imler; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 29th from 10 a.m. until the hour of the memorial service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Daniel Oldham Officiating at the J. Edward Blackburn Funeral Home.

Interment will be at the Fishertown Cemetery.
