Morgantown, WV - Alvarez - Patricia Ann "Cookie," 83, of Morgantown, W.Va., passed away Thursday, November 27, 2025, at her home. She was born March 20, 1942, in Johnstown, Pa., a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Tremko) Krupa.

She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother but also enjoyed working at various occupations as the family moved from Pennsylvania to Ohio and eventually South Carolina. She was an avid reader and especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She and her husband loved spending the winters with her son in Arizona.

She is survived by her sons, Mario Alvarez (Nancy), Vince Alvarez (Kristine), and Rick Alvarez (Lisa); grandchildren, Taylor Alvarez (Taryn), Brett Alvarez, Aaron Alvarez, Jonah Alvarez, Owen Alvarez, and Dylan Kennedy; siblings, Eugene Krupa (Ethel) and Michael Krupa (Kathy); and former daughter-in-law, Sue Alvarez.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Roberto Alvarez; and siblings, Frank, Edward, and John Krupa and Mary Ritchey and Dolores Inman.
