Portage, PA - 77, of Portage, passed away on May 24, 2026, in Johnstown. Pat was born on September 13, 1948, in Johnstown. She was the daughter of Betty (Smith) and Jim Gardner. Pat is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her sister, Mary Jo, wife of John Petrunak, of Portage. She is also survived by her fiancé, Marty Passick, of Portage, and numerous cousins. Pat was a retired reading specialist from the Portage Area School District with over 35 years of service. She was a fan of college and pro football and loved watching the Pittsburgh Steelers. Pat was also a member of the original Portage Centennial Committee known now as the Portage Area Summerfest Committee. Family will receive friends on Friday, May 29, 2026, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. in Portage, where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 11 a.m. Committal in Prospect Cemetery in Portage.
