Indiana, Pennsylvania - Peter E. Urso, 78, was at home in Indiana, Pa, when he died on June 12, 2026. Born in Johnstown, PA, on November 30, 1947; he was the son of Charles and Grace (Falsone) Urso.

Peter and his wife Antoinette (Dubinsky) Urso married on June 15, 1974. Survived by his wife and son, Charles (Melissa) Urso of Pittsburgh, PA, and daughter Michelle (Joseph) Raschilla, of Niles, OH, grandchildren Jax Raschilla and Emma Urso, as well a sister Mary Catherine Cochran of VA, and her family.

Peter had worked at the Bureau of Employment Security in Indiana. He went on disability retirement early due to having Multiple Sclerosis. Peter bravely battled MS for 57 years since the age of 21.

Peter and his family have been so blessed to have had wonderful caregivers enabling him to live at home. Peter's favorite words to the caregivers were, "You're beautiful! Is it okay if I say that?"

Peter enjoyed attending Mass at St. Thomas More University Parish, he also prayed and sang with daily Mass on television.

Friends are invited to the Donahue Tylinski Funeral Home, (formerly Bowser Minich), on Monday, June 15, 2026, from 5-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 10:30 AM with Father Jonathan Ulrick, OFM, Cap., as Celebrant. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Johnstown.
