Jerome, Pennsylvania - 79 of Jerome died May 10, 2026, at home with her family. Born January 4, 1947, in Johnstown the daughter of Ralph and Gloria (Wentz) Thomas. Preceded in death by parents, husband Donald Walker who died April 10, 2013, son Donald Walker, brothers David and Brian, sister Elaine Watkins, and nieces and nephews Angie Phillipi, Nicholas Watkins, Matt Thomas, Stacie Daugherty, and Gavin Price. Survived by her loving children Lisa married to Barry Sprowl, Scott married to Jennifer Walker, and Tonya married to Domenick Bambino. Phyllis was the grandmother to her 7 grandchildren Chris, Mike, Haylee, Jessica, Hayden, Gia, and DJ. She was the sister of Evelyn married to Larry Rager, Dorothy married to Joe Kozielec, Mike married to Kathy Thomas, Debbie married to Don Eash, Barry married to Georgann Thomas. She is also survived by Brother-In-Law David Watkins and many nieces and nephews. Phyllis's greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the UPMC Hospice for all the care of Phyllis in the last several weeks. No viewing or services at her request. Private inurnment at Custer Cemetery with her husband and son at the convenience of the family.
