LACKO – Ralph John “R.J.,” 33, died peacefully in his sleepJuly 14, 2010. Born Dec. 31, 1976, in Camp Hill, Pa., son of John and Martha Lacko. Preceded in death by mother and grandparents. Survived by father, Johnstown; son, Darion John Lacko, Mechanicsburg; sisters, Michelle Cushman (Craig) and Martha Nicholson; niece, Hanna Nicholson; nephew and godson, Jeffery Nicholson; and companion, Marcy Campbell, all of Johnstown. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Ralph served in the U.S. Navy and was a football player for Middletown Area High School. He loved sports and was a Dallas Cowboys and Penn State fan. Before moving to Johnstown to be near his family, he lived in Harrisburg, Middletown, Mechanicsburg and Las Vegas. At the request of the family, there will be no viewing. Friends are invited to a memorial service at 1 p.m. July 31 at Grace Lutheran Church, Pastor Jerri Morton, officiating.
