Johnstown, PA - SANTOYO - Rebecca A. (Lawn), 77, of Johnstown, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones after a long courageous battle with cancer. Born in Gallitzin, PA, the daughter of Michael William Lawn Jr. and Martha (Farabaugh) Lawn. Preceded in death by her brothers, Michael William Lawn III, Donald Lawn, and Eugene Lawn. Survived by her devoted husband, Jesus (Jesse) Santoyo of 55 years; her daughters, Tricia, married to Daniel Piszker, Herndon, VA, and Tara, married to Erik Connor, Johnstown, PA; grandchildren, Zachary, Brandon, Lauren and Aidan; sister, Mary Beth Lawn, of Chester, PA; brother, Joseph Lawn, Johnstown, PA; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Becky was a 1966 graduate of Bishop Carroll High School. She retired from Penn State Cooperative Extension as a nutritional education advisor. She was an avid reader and enjoyed tending to her plants and gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of SS. Gregory & Barnabas Church. The family would like to thank the staff of Interim Hospice for their wonderful care of Becky. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the Mary Grace Hospice Foundation, marygracefoundation.net. Family will receive friends on Friday, Aug. 1, 2025, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Hindman Funeral Homes, 1521 Frankstown Road, Johnstown, PA. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, Aug. 2, 2025, at 1 p.m. at St. Benedict Church, 2310 Bedford St., Johnstown, PA. Rebecca will be laid to rest at Oak Cemetery.
