Richard A. Conrad Obituary
Richard A. Conrad, of Altoona, went home on Monday to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, at UPMC Altoona.
He was born in Altoona, a son of the late Chester A. and Elizabeth J. Betty (Suckling) Conrad.
Richard is survived by a brother, Terry and wife Joyce of Johnstown; a nephew, Terry L. Conrad, Jr. and wife Genevieve of Berwyn; grandnephew, Terry L. Conrad, III of Berwyn; two aunts: Ethel White and Jean Conrad; and two cousins: Janet Bailey and Ann Nardulli.
He had been a member of the former Fourth Lutheran Church, Altoona.
Friends will be received from 12 Noon to the 2 p.m. Funeral Service Saturday, January 12, 2019, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., Juniata, with Rev. Paula Schmitt officiating. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park.
A special thank you for Richards care to UPMC, Altoona, Intensive Care Unit and Palliative Care Unit, and for the loving care shown to him by Skills of Central PA, who have cared for him for the past 47 years.
