Johnstown, PA - 95, Johnstown, passed away June 2, 2026. Born January 18, 1931, in Johnstown, daughter of the late Anthony and Sydney (Carrell) Gleissner. Preceded in death by husband, William J. Macy; infant son, Michael Macy; son, William Macy; brother, Samuel "Eddie" Gleissner; and son-in-law, Stan Gillin. Survived by loving daughters, Michelle, married to Dr. Jack Lazer; Venetia, married to Michael Santichen; and Theresa Mihelic; grandchildren, Dr. Tyler Lazer, married to Kara; Dr. Adrianne, married to Dr. Daniel Hawkins; Garrett Santichen; Cole Santichen, married to Jessica; Dylan Santichen; and Nova Mihelic; great-grandchildren, Lainey, Rose, Cole, Bo, Bindi and Nellie. Rita enjoyed working as a florist, and later in life volunteering at her church, St. John Gualbert Cathedral. She was especially fond of sewing and quilting. She loved animals and enjoyed visits from her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family wishes to thank Windber Hospice for their care and support during this time. At the request of Rita, there will be no viewing and a private committal service will be held at Grandview Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Moskal & Kennedy Colonial Funeral Home of Johnstown.
