Mechanicsburg, PA - PINOS - Robert J., 72, of Mechanicsburg, formerly of Portage, passed away unexpectedly at his home on June 13, 2025. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda (Cheney) Pinos, and his parents, John and Mary (Marsalko) Pinos. Robert is survived by his three sons: Jason Pinos (wife, Emily Lewellen), of Mechanicsburg; David Pinos, of Las Vegas; and Matthew Pinos (wife, Jennifer), of Portland, Oregon. He was a proud grandfather to Ashlyn and Mason. He is also survived by his siblings: Jacqueline (Dennis) Beck, Richard (Omayra) Pinos, and Diane (Gosselin) Pinos and He is also survived by his cherished companion, (sweetie Michelle), with whom he shared a love of hiking, traveling, exploring National Parks, and weekly dinners with his sister. One of his most treasured memories was hiking Angel's Landing in Zion National Park, a breathtaking experience that reflected his adventurous spirit and love for the natural world. His interest in family genealogy took him on a journey to Hungary where he met with living relatives and traced the lives of grandparents. As graduate of Duquesne University School of Pharmacy, Robert dedicated many years to serving the Mechanicsburg community with care and professionalism. He enjoyed life as an avid sportsman, cherishing time in the outdoors, and having a traditional annual hunting trip with his twin brother. Robert was known far and wide not just as a pharmacist, but as a trusted friend and a familiar face. He was always ready with a warm smile and a moment to chat. To many in the Mechanicsburg community, he wasn't just their pharmacist; he was someone they knew. Robert's life will be celebrated in the way he lived it - surrounded by those who loved him most. A private Celebration of Life will be held later to honor his memory and the remarkable life he lived. Arrangements are being handled by Malpezzi Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg.
