Johnstown, PA - Ronald Bako, 74, passed away on October 21, 2025. Born October 4, 1951, to the late John and Ann (Kula) Bako. Preceded in death by his sister, Patsy Herman, and brother, John J. Bako. Survived by loving wife of 50 years, Judith C. (Born) Bako; sons, Mark Bako, and wife, Jessica, and Mike Bako; grandchildren, Andrew and Matthew; sister, Annette Powell; and sister-in-law, Donna Bako. Ronald honorably served our nation in the Airforce. He was a proud owner of his own plumbing business for 25 years. He enjoyed making train layouts, tinkering, watching his favorite show, Gunsmoke, gardening, and growing sunflowers. The family would like to thank the Johnstown and Altoona VA for the excellent care and respect that they always showed him. Also, thanks to AseraCare Hospice, Conemaugh Home Health, and the nurses and staff at Arbutus Park Manor. Donations may be shared in Ronald's honor to a veteran organization of your choice. A viewing will be held on Monday, October 27, 2025, at Hindman Funeral Homes, 1521 Frankstown Road, from 1:00-4:00 and from 6:00 until the time of service at 7:00.
